The amount covered will depend on your plan; you must check with your insurer for more information about your coverage levels and limitations.

How Do I Use My Insurance Benefits for Mental Health Care?

After finding out which types of services are covered under your insurance policy and what deductibles or copayments you may be responsible for paying, you can schedule an appointment at New Leaf Wellness. Once you have scheduled a session, we will verify eligibility to determine whether additional costs or requirements must be met before treatment begins. To maximize their accuracy, it is essential to have certain information handy when contacting us; this includes Your name (or policyholder’s name), date ofpolicyholder’sicyholder’s date of birth) policyholder’scode associated with the policyholder’s account addrespolicyholder’ser/group number (if applicable) and telephone/fax number associated with the account.

Once eligibility has been verified, we will submit claims on behalf of our clients by their current benefit plan; however, please note that there is no guarantee that insurance companies will cover services once claims are filed. If, for some reason, claims are denied or only partially processed, payments must first be made directly to New Leaf Wellness before reimbursement from insurers can occur. Remember that all copayments and coinsurance amounts specified by the patient’s plan must be paid to the patient – failure to do so may result in delinquent accounts, which could negatively impact credit ratings.

In addition, please understand that it is ultimately the responsibility of their clients to remain informed about changes in their policies and to keep up-to-date on any new forms or documents required by their respective insurers when using these benefits. They should also ensure there are no outstanding balances due before seeking treatment from providers such as ourselves here at New Leaf Wellness.
